Expanding into Mobility and Lifestyle In 2012, JHL ventured into the automotive sector with JHL Auto, alongside the cultural lifestyle launch of Étoile Dance Center. The expansion continued with entries into F&B and retail through Clique Kitchen & Bar, and Gallery Bursa Auto.
Creating Destinations, Broadening Vision Hospitality took center stage with the launch of JSI Resort Megamendung. By 2017, JHL had diversified into media (KabarOto, BolaSkor), mining, and fintech via Nusapay — reinforcing its role in shaping modern Indonesian industry.
A Year of Integration A milestone year with the debut of JHL Solitaire Gading Serpong, surrounded by lifestyle and wellness brands such as Al Gusto, Royal Eight, Mangan, Empress, Lé Bleu, Le Mère Salon, Acqua Wellness, and The Workout. Amerta Jiwa Indonesia was formed, later becoming home to the cultural wellness brand Sandjong. JHL Foundation also launched, formalizing our commitment to education and community development.
Strengthening Identity and Social Impact JHL expanded its hospitality and wellness footprint with Acquaree Kids Spa, Kayu Spa, and JHL Collection. In 2020, Dewa United launched across football, basketball, and esports — redefining modern Indonesian sports clubs through a lifestyle lens. New purpose-led ventures like Boemi Botanicals, Nusantara House, and Chia & Ca further reflected our commitment to local artisanship and community-rooted brands.
Growing Reach, Deepening Purpose The launch of Sandjong Wellness and Episode Gading Serpong showcased a fusion of cultural design and contemporary hospitality. Sustainability and tech entered the fold with Muara Energi, Gudang Kripto, and JHL Live Screen, while programs like Wanita Bisa and JHL Lestari deepened our environmental and community impact.
Momentum and Scale A landmark year featuring the debut of Herloom Hotel & Residence BSD, Carstensz Residence & Mall, and Dewa United Arena. Lifestyle and F&B brands like GRID Fitness Hub, Arooma Asian Bistro, Roemah Koffie, Mama Ann, Chummy Tummy, and Cow Play Cow Moo enriched our portfolio. We also strengthened our presence in automotive with JHL Auto Alam Sutera and scaled Lissey Laundry nationwide.
Elevating Experience and Expanding Reach JHL entered Jakarta’s luxury market with Sandjong Orient at The Orient Hotel. Strategic growth continued with PT JIO Distribusi Indonesia and PT JHL Internasional Otomotif, expanding our distribution and industrial capabilities. Consumer brands like DewaCoco Store and Lissey Laundry grew further, deepening our connection with everyday customers.
Built to Endure The launch of Noema Resort Pererenan reflects our ongoing commitment to design-led hospitality. Roemah Koffie Academy debuts, preserving heritage and nurturing talent through coffee education. As we move forward, JHL enters a new era of global presence and enduring impact — guided by transformation through design, and driven by purpose at every step.
